This summer has already been jam packed with adventures - but it wouldn't be complete without at least one day with the McCulloch's (and not at a triathlon!). The McCulloch's came up to our place for a sleepover - that was interesting (we need to move!), and then we all went to the Toronto Zoo the next day. The kids were troopers as we dragged them around all day to see as many animals as we could. It was a great day for animal watching, as lots of them were out and active.
Abby & Zach go to the Zoo for the first time! (And later we found out Craig and Lindsay had never been either.)

| I could sit and watch the orangutans all day |
| One of the last times we'll see elephants at the Toronto Zoo |
A lot has changed in two years!
| Alyssa at 2 when we took her to the Zoo in 2011 |
| Abby must like the Hippos |
| Alyssa is so good with Abby, always what's to take care of her |
| The "You aren't allowed to eat that" hold |
| Zebras were one of the favourite animals |
| Zach literally jumped up and down when he saw the lions |
| Another favourite - the giraffes |
| I didn't realize how big penguins were |
| Alyssa's as big as a King penguin |
| Someone's woken from her nap! |
| Abby enjoyed being outside, don't know if she saw any of the animals! |
One of the animals that all of us were excited to see, were the pandas. The two pandas are new to the zoo this year, and are only in Toronto for the next 5 years (I think). One was sleeping and the other was working his way through a pile of bamboo. They are a lot smaller than I thought they'd be, but super cute!

| Someone's on the wrong side of the cage... looking in on his buddies. |
Until next time - probably in another two years!
