Miss Bridget is 7 Months

Vitals: Bridget seems to just be getting longer these days.  She weighs 17lbs and has tons of rolls still. However, she's beginning to lean out and we aren't growing out of our size 4 diapers any time soon. We now have our bottom two teeth - they came within a couple of days of each other, most likely causing most of Bridget's discomfort and sleepless nights!

Sleep: Bridget has begun consolidating down to one nap, sometimes we catch a 30-45min nap in the morning or evening, and then a longer nap midday.  With Abby doing swimming lessons and gymnastics during the week - we will take what we can get as far as naps during the day. Night, on the other hand, are horrible - still.  Bridget has decided she doesn't want to sleep through the night. The first portion of the night is usually pretty good, we'll get 4-5h between when she goes down (around 7-8) but then she's up a minimum of 3 times! If we are lucky, she's up for a nurse and then back into bed - but those times are few and far between. If we are unlucky - she's up to party for 3h. We've had multiple nights where B wants to be wide awake at 3am. No amount of bouncing or walking or nursing or cuddling will put her back to sleep.

Likes: Abby - B still lights up when she sees Abby. Bridget loves music and singing, even if it's mommy's horrible singing voice! She loves to smile. Bridget is enjoying the Jumperoo more, but she really likes the Jolly-Jumper at Nana and Papa's.  She is starting to enjoy the bath more now that she is better at sitting up!

Dislikes: Besides teething... we aren't a huge fan of food yet.  Still gagging and not really "getting it".  We like some foods though - meat and broccoli, cucumber and apple are our go to foods.  

Accomplishments: We have exploded in skills this month. As far as vocals: we can say "mamamama" and "abaabaabaa". Daddy has taught B how to blow make a hilarious noise with our hands and mouth (she squeals while moving her hand on and off her mouth - funny!).  We wiggle a lot, moving around our play-mat and reaching for toys. Bridget is a pro at sitting up now.  She loves to sit up too. 

We have also stopped spitting up now! I think we've gone most of the month without spitting up excessively. I think we are beyond that now! 

Personality: Besides the whole no sleeping part, Bridget is a very happy baby. She's really starting to come into her own loving little self. She will stare you down, gazing right into your eyes, before cracking into the biggest smile. She's starting to be very curious. Bridget is defiantly becoming less blob like and more person, and it's really fun to watch the transition - especially Abby's reaction to Bridget doing more and more things. Abby is constantly informing me of things Bridget is doing! So adorable. They are great sisters already.
