This year, Dustin and I were lucky to host a portion of Gramma's 80th Birthday Weekend Celebration Extravaganza.

D and I really got to test out the limits of our new house. Having 15 people stay at the house, plus hosting dinners, breakfasts, after parties and gatherings all weekend - made for a pretty chaotic weekend. It was well worth it though. Gramma had a great time and it was the first time in a decade (plus) that all 13 cousins were in the same room at the same time. It was amazing.

Allie made the trip by herself with her two kiddos. It was the first time meeting baby Kinley - who was just a few weeks old at this point.

Besides the party, as mentioned, we had a lot of fun time with the family. The Cardiffs crashed out our place, as well as the Whiddens. We were able to spend time with all the families - it was amazing. Abby loved playing with her cousins and spending time with her "aunts and uncles". She loved baby Kinley and just wanted to cuddle her all the time.

Allie couldn't do anything to K without Abby and Tayson trying to help.

It was at this point we thought it best to take K away from A...

This may have been Abby's favourite moment of the weekend!
After some of our guests had left, we decided to do a "low-key" day at the Aquarium with anyone left in the city. We had a great time. Abby was still a little unsure about the fish in the tanks. She's a little nervous about the illusion with the glass and the water - I think she feels as though if she gets to close the fish are going to get her. But, Tayson loved it!
In the end, we had a great visit, but we were all VERY tired. It was a crazy few days, but we are so glad that everyone was able to come to our new house and be together.
