Like last year, Dustin, Abby and I spent Canada Day in London. We had a great day visiting the family and spending time outdoors. We went to Springbank park and rode the train and the carousel. Abby was not too sure about the carousel and preferred to ride the train a couple of times.

Not too sure about this merry-go-round situation.

Also, we've had a great summer for going to the park. Abby loves being outside and in my attempt to bump her nap from the morning until after lunch, we've done a lot of mid morning walks (right around 10 am). We've actually done this so much, that at around 10am, Abby will begin saying "wa" (walk) and "ssshhhhzzz" (shoes) and go to the door looking for her shoes to put on (or whoever's shoes happen to be at the door) to remind me that it's time for her walk. We usually end up going to the dog park for a visit with the puppies and a swing and a slide.

| Abby loves rocks. She could dig and play in them all day. Unfortunately, she also tried to eat them. |
Sometimes, Abby just wants to be a big kid.
I have to watch her all the time at the park, now that she's learned how to climb stairs.
When we put in the offer to our new house, we stopped at ToysRUs and bought two kid Muskoka chairs and a table, in the hopes that we'd get the house and have a backyard to put them in. Well, Abby loves these chairs. She loves climbing them, moving them, pushing them around, and sitting in them. I also showed her that she can eat at her table, and that was one of the most exciting discoveries for her. She got a kick out of sitting at the table with her plate like a big girl. She even shared some food with her baby doll. It was too cute.
Feeding baby video - note the grunt when Abby tries to get baby but is sitting on her, she does this a lot when she's frustrated, but is too stubborn to ask for help. Also, Abby says "all gone" when she's finished.

| Finally, we are getting Abby used to wearing a life jacket in preparation for the cabin. I don't think she minds it. |
