So, as you can tell, we've been pretty busy this summer. With the condo going on the market (and selling), and having to search for a new house, we've had a lot to do. Plus, all the other normal stuff we do during the summer (although, we aren't doing our usual races every other weekend). But the good news is, we've found a house! (I'll make a new post just about the new house!) Our little family has been enjoying our crazy summer. We've travelled a bit and had friends and family come visit us. The weather has been great - which helped when Abby and I (and Dustin) would have to vacate the condo for showings.

| Abby's new favourite game - climbing into things. |
| Tired girl after a night partying at Carolyn's wedding. |
| Graunty Linda quickly finds out Abby is your best friend if you show her dog videos on your phone. |
We had a quick, but fun visit with Aunt Linda and Uncle John (which made us even more excited to spend more time with the family at the cabin in August). And then after that, another quick visit from James.
With the showings happening every other day for almost 2-3 weeks, Abby and I got to take lots of walking adventures around our little neighbourhood. We'll miss being in this amazing neighbourhood when we move, but I'm sure we'll find more exciting places and parks around our new house.

| Kicked out of the house at lunch time - no problem: Picnic lunch at Whole Foods! |
| My monkey! |
One weekend, we were kicked out of the house for three hours or more, so we decided to go for a little hike at Rattlesnake Park in Milton. Abby loved it. We pushed the stroller through the trails the whole time, but I think she only got in it once! She was more interested in walking and only tripped once (stumbled a couple of time, but only one wipeout!). We then stopped for lunch at a food truck parked in Burlington for the Burlington Music Festival. Abby loved it. She danced and clapped while people were singing on stage.
| We have to stop and pick up rocks whenever we walk anywhere! |
| Rabbit hunting! |
Apparently, Abby has learned that she can get into things. She's becoming a bit of a climber. She managed to get into her toy basket the other day. Which was hilarious, until she couldn't get out of it.
| I love the belly! |
| This is what happened when she couldn't get out of the basket - face plant into the hardwood and a fat lip to show for it. |
| Got caught playing with Dad's phone. |
| Sharing blueberries with her baby doll. |
| She still loves reading books - and now "reads" them by herself. |
And of course, we have to make time for our playdates with Kaitlyn. The two girls played in Kaitlyn's backyard and had a great time. It was nice to have a backyard BBQ and made us excited to return the favour to Susan and Andy when we get our backyard!
Abby constantly cracks us up. She is hilarious when shopping - she squeals whenever we go to Longo's because she loves the car shopping carts. She will steer and honk the horn and just loves it.
| She's also decided she's too big to ride in the cart, but would rather push it. |
| Or take over and do her own shopping (she initiated this basket pulling on her own!) |
| "Dad, can I have this dog?" |
| Like father, like daughter (down to the feet crossing) |
